If you currently have a past-due bill and your income
has been certified to be less than 60 percent of the state median income
level, you might be eligible for the Residential Arrearage Management
Program (RAMP). The program is designed to eliminate your past-due
balance, typically over a 12-month period. Eligible customers are
required to pay a budget amount based on individual usage and your Fuel
How the program works
You must have an active Columbia Gas account.
You must be the customer of record
You must be on Columbia's Discount Rate* Program
(See list of programs below)
The monthly budget amount will be calculated based
upon your estimated future use over the next 12 months, less any fuel
assistance grants you might be eligible to receive. Every time a payment
is made by the due date, a credit equal to 1/12th of your past-due
balance at the time of enrollment will be applied to your account until
the final payment is made.

in detail, making sure you fully understand it before enrolling.
